Low-flow fixtures are environmentally friendly, especially here in the
desert as they save water, not waste it. For example, conventional
shower heads use between 4 and 5 gallons of water per minute. Low-flow
shower heads use about 2½ gallons per minute. A bathroom or kitchen
faucet with an aerator can use 40% less water.
